We have combined the most positive and promising components of international Kindergartens and Japanese Youchiens. Thus, offering the best of both worlds to your children, and preparing them for the quickly approaching reality, that is , an international global village.
At Little Kinder , we teach polite Japanese and Japanese culture ; songs, traditional stories and social events. This is the only time the children are allowed to speak Japanese. After that, the children have to speak English for the rest of day..
The children learn sociality , cooperation , fairness , kindness , sharing , following rules and more on a daily basis at Little Kinder.
Because of this combination, children graduating from Little Kinder won’t have any problems when they go to Japanese elementary school or International school. Also, foreign students returning to their home countries, having this multicultural preschool experience、 will no doubt enjoy talking about Japan and Japanese culture with friends, teachers and family.

CHILD DEVELOPMENT
PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT
This involves the way children use their large and small muscles. Large muscles are used for activities such as walking, running, jumping and throwing; Small muscles are used for drawing, writing, feeding and dressing.
SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
Social development refers to how children interact with other children and adults . Social skills include sharing, cooperating and following rules.
EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Emotional development includes children’s self-esteem, and their ability to express their feelings.
LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT
Language development refers to children’s ability to listen, understand, speak, and eventually read and write.
INTELLECTUAL DEVELOPMENT
Intellectual development involves children’s ability to think, reason, and solve problems. It includes forming concepts, remembering ideas, and recognizing objects.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q What are school hours.
School hours are from 9:00 to 3:00 or 9:00 to 5:00 Monday to Friday. Every Mondays finish at 3:00.
After Kinder at 3:00, your child can stay in afterschool as many hours as you want between until 5:00.
Our classes range from ten to eighteen students, which is our maximum class size. We like having enough students so that they can interact with each other, but not too many, since that would compromise personalized attention.
We have 2 teachers per class, one native English speaker and one Japanese.
Our curriculum is based on a combination of Western Kindergarten and Japanese Youchien. We have Japanese lesson too. We teach children polite Japanese , Japanese songs and Japanese culture. Also, we teach Martial Arts , Art , Dance, Tea ceremony, etc. The rest of the day is exclusively in English.
Not only do children learn skills such as cooperation, fairness , kindness , manners, socialization, communication, concentration and following rules, but they also learn to put these skills into practice everyday.
Children have to bring their own lunch to school.
